Rome, Italy — The Italian Ministry of University and Research (Mur) and the National Anti-Corruption Authority (Anac) recently signed a crucial protocol aimed at strengthening transparency and preventing corrupt practices in university selection processes. This agreement serves as a vital foundation for overseeing the implementation of academic system reforms, ensuring integrity and meritocracy within higher education institutions.
The protocol signing was conducted by the Minister of University and Research, Professor Elena Rossi, and the President of Anac, Dr. Giovanni Ferrari, at Mur headquarters in Rome. This initiative marks the Italian government's serious commitment to cleansing the education sector of all forms of irregularities.
Minister Rossi emphasized the urgency of this action. "Education is the foundation of the nation's future.
