CATANIA – Mount Etna, one of the worlds most active volcanoes, has once again shown significant eruptive activity, prompting local authorities to impose a red flight alert in the surrounding area. The National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology (INGV) confirmed a shift in the focus of volcanic activity from the Voragine crater to the North-East crater, indicating an intensification of this natural upheaval after a brief pause.
